Bill Georgoussis was born in 1965 in Melbourne, Australia to Greek parents, and studied photography and film in Australia (RMIT). Since 1985 he has worked in the United Kingdom and Greece as a fashion photographer and advertising, living permanently in London. He has collaborated with numerous magazines and international fashion houses. Bill Georgoussis is the artistic director of fashion designer Sophia Kokosalaki. His photographs convey a sense of narrative film, more like film stills and photography. His use of color and lighting to avoid exaggeration. Bill Georgoussis steers clear of stereotypes of fashion, yet the management, however, remain contemporary in terms of style and content.
