Fashion Photography for Kurv Magazine by Melissa Rodwell
This fashion photography for Kurv Magazine exception exists. In the months before the photoshoot, I pulled the Asian model as a reference for inspiration. At the same time, I saw a documentary fashion photography a lot more than fashion. Thus was born the idea of merging the two themes together: a story of Asian models photography shot more documentary style. Casting time less than a week. Hair, makeup and stylists are booked in a day. I found a studio large enough for large sets of us (I also hired a prop stylist) and the bank window to one side (I like the light available to one side). Roots Studios in Brooklyn, NY is our studio for this shoot day fashion photography.
